LittleBigHelp

We support the 'Gulermat Slum Skills Training Empowerment Project'

We have worked closely with our Indian suppliers for many years, and since 2021 we have wanted to give something back to a population in need. When we heard about the Empowerment project, we knew it was an obvious initiative for us to support.

The project provides Indian women with the opportunity to take tailor-made training that ensures economic and social security for themselves and their families. In addition, courses are offered in mindfulness, self-esteem, health, entrepreneurship and women's rights, which empower women to deal with abuse and oppression. Home visits are also provided to ensure safety and support.

LittleBigHelp was founded in 2010 by Lisbeth Johansen, who has since worked in slums in Kolkata and Howrah. They have established several skill development centers for women, helping to break the cycle of poverty. We are proud to support their work and contribute to a
brighter future for the people who need help the most.

60% live on less than 21 kr. a day

Are you curious about how our collaboration has made a difference? And would you like to hear how the Indian women we have supported have fared in the project?

DANISH HOSPITAL CLOWNS

Our support for Danish Hospital Clowns

We are proud sponsors of the Danish Hospital Clowns, who bring joy and support to hospitalized children and their families every day. Their work strengthens the children's joy of life and courage, which makes it easier for them to cope with their illness. We never had any doubts about supporting the Danish Hospital Clowns and their work to bring light and hope to all children and young people, regardless of diagnosis.

Through their visits to the hospitals, they create moments of joy and togetherness that make a big difference in children's everyday lives. We are happy to be part of this meaningful initiative and help bring smiles to children's faces during difficult times.

Facts:
• There are currently 69 trained hospital clowns who visit children in hospitals and institutions throughout Denmark.

• They visit 21 hospitals – all the country's children's departments

• They visit 26 child and adolescent psychiatric units, special schools,
respite institutions, residential facilities and the two children's hospices in Denmark

• 14 new apprentices began hospital clown training in 2024

• The training lasts 1.5 years and is offered by the association itself.
