Black Colour was founded in Denmark in 2009 by Anette Skjødt Larsen. It all started with colorful, handmade bracelets that Anette made at home, and the small project quickly grew with new product categories.

An important chapter was LUNA - a collection of sari-inspired styles from India, which marked the beginning of Black Colour's clothing universe. Today, Black Colour has grown from its roots into a complete universe of clothing and accessories. 

The name Black Colour goes all the way back to the beginning. At a time when the fashion scene was dominated by black and minimalism, the desire was to create something with more color, energy, and personality. The contrast between Black and Colour became the inspiration for the name - and the same idea still lives on in the brand today: The Power of Colour and Creativity. 

Black Colour is a Danish fashion brand with a love for colors, creativity, and the slightly unexpected. We keep up with fashion, but do things our own way with playful colors, prints, materials, and combinations that give our collections a distinct Black Colour look.
